| Bio: | I am a stay-at-home mom who never gets enough sleep because of a combination of insomnia and obsession with various geeky projects of my own invention. I also occasionally do freelance web design, and expect that I'll return to teaching Computer Science at the university when the kids are both in school. My husband Travis is a professor of Computer Science and Engineering, and is a fantastic dad and husband. My son Alexander John (Xander) was born on April 22, 2003. He's a brilliant and agile boy who loves trucks, vehicles, and machines. His most recent obsession is Legos, particularly space ship Legos. My daughter Katherine Sherilyn (Kayli) was born on November 13, 2005. She's a sweet and helpful girl who loves dolls and the color pink. She is fearless and constantly in motion, except when she's snuggling with us. All of my entries are friends-only. In addition, I regularly make old entries private, so you'll only be able to read back about a month, and tags won't help you at all. Yes, I've already been told that I'm weird about livejournal. I don't add new friends unless I'm friends with you in real life, so don't bother asking unless you actually know me. I'm sorry to be unfriendly (I'm not in real life), but I barely have time to keep up with my friends' page as it is. I don't want to spend so much time on lj that I don't have time to do anything that I can post about on lj. | ||
